WHAT IS COVERED:
- The reasonable cost to repair the actual failure of insured components following sudden and unforeseen mechanical breakdown that occurs within New Zealand during normal use subject to the terms and conditions detailed in the policy document.
- Towing of the vehicle to the nearest authorised repair centre.
- Accommodation, Car Rental and Return Home Costs:
If your vehicle takes more than 24 hours to repair and you are more than 100kms away from your home you may choose one of the following:
reimbursement for up to 7 days accommodation up to a maximum of $1,200; or
reimbursement for 7 days car hire costs up to $1,200; or
reimbursement for return home costs (such as air fares) up to $1,200.
