Our Black & White* class vehicles have the odometers independently checked and verified by a registered Instrument Specialist.

The mileage shown on a vehicle odometer can have a significant bearing on the value of the vehicle. Imported Japanese vehicles and New Zealand second-hand vehicles are prone to having the mileage altered. The only reliable method of verifying whether the mileage is genuine is to have the odometer professionally examined for characteristic tell-tale marks.

A detailed inspection record can be provided detailing the results of the examination of the odometer. Where the vehicle mileage is shown to be genuine, a certificate is provided showing the vehicle mileage, chassis number and the date of examination. In cases where the odometer is found to be tampered, it is usually possible to determine the approximate original mileage.
