When I think of West Auckland, I think of some of the most beautiful black sand beaches, amazing coastlines and world-class surfing! Not to mention the art, music and culture that makes this such a vibrant part of our city.
I have lived in Piha for almost 20 years, and it’s the clean green living and being surrounded by native bush that has kept me here! It’s that untamed beauty that is good for the soul.
I’m really excited about what the future holds for good old West Auckland. The future for New Lynn is nothing but bright - it is going to be one of the most important town centres in our city; the blueprint for mixing work, home, social and recreation, and I get to work in the middle of it all!

These were the first words Neil spoke when I asked him what it is like living and working in West Auckland.
Neil grew up a Central Auckland boy, kicking around the mean streets of Remuera before he finally decided to see the world.
It was on his return to New Zealand in the late '90s that he settled in West Auckland, and he hasn’t looked back since! He is now the proud father of born-and-bred Westies, he plays golf at Titirangi and likes to drive supercharged GT Falcons.

Kevin, Enterprise Car Dealerships New Lynn Branch Manager, was born and raised in the little Waikato town locally known as Hobbiton but “Even though Matamata has a lot to offer, I was after more so I made the big move to Hamilton”.
Outside of work he’s very sociable and loves everything outdoors - between Jet Skiing, fishing in the Firth of Thames and cruising in his classic 75 Corvette, Kevin always keeps himself busy.
Initially starting in Sales with Turners Hamilton, Kevin realised his passion for all things car related and seized an opportunity with Enterprise Motors in 2017. He started as the internet Sales Person before progressing to Sales Manager and has now taken the next step to Branch Manager, running his own branch in New Lynn.
Kevin is very approachable and down to earth so don’t be afraid to pop your head in the door and say G’day to our new mate from a small NZ town.
